Research

My current work can be divided into two broad categories: biological problems and systems (programming) problems.

The biological topics under study are the analysis of molecular dynamics as applied to mutations in proteins, protein interactions, and protein folding.

As to the second category, I write software to harness available resources for running, analyzing, and storing data from molecular dynamics simulations. As a result, I create and manage distributed workflows, and write tools that are used in our lab.
